In response, God causes Adam to fall into a deep sleep and creates Eve from one of his ribs. Adam recognizes Eve as bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh, signifying their intimate connection and unity.
The narrative concludes with the affirmation of marriage as a sacred union between man and woman, symbolizing the oneness and completeness of their relationship. Adam and Eve, initially naked and unashamed, enjoy harmony and intimacy in their pristine surroundings.
